About FREECART

freecart is a brand of PSbaumkoetter, our family business based in Dortmund, Germany. Inventing is our passion.

We enjoy looking at everyday tasks that are more awkward than they need to be and thinking about how they could work better.

Why we do it

Shopping and life at home come with small frustrations. Retail packaging can be difficult to open, you may need an extra hand when carrying things, or belongings may have no proper place. These are the situations that interest us. We want to understand what causes the problem and what could help.

We enjoy developing an idea into something useful. What matters to us is whether it works in everyday life. A product should do a useful job and be easy to use without a lengthy explanation.

How we develop freecart

We continually expand our range, focusing on the tasks involved in shopping, getting around and storing things. Our expectations remain the same for each new product: it should have a clear purpose and be straightforward to use.

We work on freecart together as a family. We discuss ideas, question them and develop them further. Inventing is part of that work, as is being willing to rethink something.

We would like to hear from you

We want to know how our products work for you in everyday life. If you have a question, a suggestion for improvement or an idea to share, feel free to write to us. Your feedback helps us develop freecart further.
